- The Way Home (post-game) -
When you have finished all the story paths, You, Arven, Nemona, and Penny make your way to the Zero Gate, to find the professors laboratory, at their request. Once inside, you go to various research centers to unlock the door to the professor’s lab. On the way you find various Pokémon who you soon figure out to be from a different time (the past for Scarlet, the future for Violet), brought to the present day via time machine. At the labs entrance, you fight through some paradox Pokémon to get into the lab, and fine out that the professor is actually a robot, made by the real professor before they died.
The robot is an exact copy of the professor, memories and all, and says they must shut down the time machine before Paldea is overwhelmed with Paradox Pokémon, and they need your help to do it. When the AI tries to shut down the machine, their code overwrites, and they start protecting the machine. Once you defeat the AI in battle, your friends arrive and the Paradise Protection Protocol kicks in, taking control over the AI professor and locking all Pokéballs that don’t belong to the professor. You send out Koraidon, finally able to battle and defeat the professor’s Koraidon. After the battle the Paradise Protection Protocol shuts down, and the AI time travels to another time using the time machine a final time, as it breaks down. You and your friends walk back to Mesagoza, ending the final story path.
